Pilgrims and Indians

Dressed in historically correct clothing from 1621, Peter will tell the story of the first Thanksgiving. He will guide the children through comparison of his clothing and theirs.

A large number of display items belonging to both Pilgrim and Indian will be available for the children to see, hear stories about, and touch. There will be a number of items for the students to try on, and teachers may photograph the students during this time.

The students will use the words, long ago and before and after. Positive character traits will also be presented throughout the program.
